Providing compassionate care for those at the end of life.
Our Mission
To offer comfort-based personal, emotional, and spiritual care to guests of Mercy House; to provide support for families and friends of guests; and to coordinate community education, engagement, and involvement.
Mercy House provides compassionate end-of-life care in a calm, peaceful setting. The physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of guests are addressed, and families and friends are comforted and supported.
Mercy House is an independent nonprofit and is the first home of its kind in Franklin County, serving members of the community and surrounding counties who cannot be cared for at home or don’t need to be hospitalized. Uniquely designed to manage end-of-life care, Mercy House employs specially trained and licensed caregivers who are attentive to individual needs. Partnering with area hospice agencies in creating comprehensive plans for holistic care, Mercy House is proud to be part of the movement to improve the end-of-life experience for individuals, families, and friends.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Daylight saving time became a national standard in 1966 when President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Uniform Time Act, which was established as a way to conserve energy. The thinking was if it's light out longer, that's less time needed to use the lights in your house.

"Mercy House gave me the precious gift of being a wife again, instead of a caregiver," shared Robyn, whose beloved husband resided with us last summer. Families often tell us that our support allowed them to focus on creating final memories rather than managing medical needs.
