Providing compassionate care for those at the end of life.
Our Mission
To offer comfort-based personal, emotional, and spiritual care to guests of Mercy House; to provide support for families and friends of guests; and to coordinate community education, engagement, and involvement.
Mercy House is designed for and focused on comfort care at the end of life. Individualized round-the-clock care is provided in the community home setting by a dedicated team of trained caregivers and volunteers.
As an independent nonprofit, Mercy House partners with area hospice agencies, which manage patient clinical treatment. Mercy House provides a haven of compassionate care when a lack of caregivers and resources prevent a peaceful death at home, and is proud to be part of the movement to improve the end-of-life experience for individuals and families in our community.
Mercy House provides compassionate, dignified care to those facing their final days. Please consider making a donation to help us with this important work.

"In my hospice and palliative care work I saw the need for Mercy House - and I wanted my patients, my family, and my community to have the opportunity to experience a comfortable death. You only have to see one "bad death" to know how it shouldn't be done, and one good one to know it can be a beautiful thing. I'm proud to serve on the board for Mercy House, where the end of life is honored as it should be." - Dr. Anna Kent

You are truly a blessing. Miss working with you. Glad I still see you sometimes ❣️
The Mercy House is indeed a place of compassion, giving each individual their dignity in the dying process. Thank you for providing this service as an option to many individuals and their families.
I miss you Dr. Kent. Thanks for the care you gave me.
Mercy House is designed as a warm, welcoming home, not a clinical hospital or facility setting. Guests have spacious private rooms where they receive attentive, specialized care from licensed and certified staff. Our goal is to make this difficult time as comforting as possible for guests and their loved ones.
