Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, pursuant to 18 PA.C.S. Ch. 91. This report will be obtained for Mercy House from the Pennsylvania State Police. For those applicants who are not Pennsylvania residents, and for the two years immediately preceding the date of application have not been Pennsylvania residents, a report of Federal Criminal History will be obtained from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. All offers of employment are conditional until this requirement is satisfied. Mercy House of Chambersburg reserves the right to withdraw any offer of employment or terminate employment based on the results of the background check.
